Who We Are
UCO Seattle is a community of college students who have accepted Christ’s commission to spread the Gospel on our campuses. We are an ecumenical group, which means that we have members from Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox Christian traditions.
We meet primarily at the University of Washington campus. However, we do welcome students from many surrounding institutions.
Annie is from Tampico, Mexico, and is the fifth from a family of 8. She majored in International Studies and Foreign Languages at Benedictine College, Kansas. There, she was involved with Saint Paul’s Outreach in the formation and worship team. She currently works for the Archdiocese of Seattle as an assistant to Pastoral Care, Hispanic, and Multicultural ministries. Annie loves traveling, learning languages, and attending international conferences. She is passionate about being a bridge between cultures and generations, and helping people speak the same language. She is the wife of Scott Bailey and mother to little Jimmy.
Scott is originally from Bellevue, WA, and is married to Annie who is from Tampico, Mexico. Scott attended Seattle U, where he got his Masters in Sports Administration and Leadership, and he now works as Assistant Director of CYO Athletics. Scott and Annie have a son, Jimmy, who was born in the Spring of 2016. In his free time, Scott enjoys playing guitar, and going on walks (primarily to catch Pokemon!).
