Who We Are
UCO Vancouver is a community of college students who have accepted Christ’s commission to spread the Gospel on our campuses. We are an ecumenical group, which means that we have members from Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox Christian traditions.
We meet primarily at the Vancouver campus of the University of British Columbia. However, we do welcome students from many surrounding institutions such as Corpus Christi College, Langara College, Simon Fraser University, and others.
Dannie completed her degree at the University of British Columbia in Natural Resources Conservation. She was involved in UCO throughout her undergrad and decided to serve on staff upon graduating. She is your go-to gal for nature tidbits, local vegetarian eateries, and discussions on caring for creation.
Trish studied Philosophy at the University of British Columbia. Upon graduating, she worked for UCO in Vancouver and Burnaby. Trish is a bit of a bookworm, with particular interests in science fiction, fantasy, history, classics, philosophy, theology… anything really! This love of books means her mind is full of interesting information which she is always happy to share.
Jon graduated from the Sauder School of Business at University of British Columbia. He served UCO during his time at UBC and has stayed on to do staff work. He likes to keep busy playing sports like basketball and golf, as well as enjoying the natural beauty of Vancouver. It is great to have mountains right by the beach.
